What Is the HALO Laser?
HALO Pro is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser for skin resurfacing that incorporates both deep dermal rejuvenation and epidermal renewal. Thus, the combined effect creates beautiful results without the downtime of more aggressive treatments.
Exposure to the sun and the surrounding environment can create fine lines, wrinkles and sun spots. As a result, these everyday stressors rob the skin of its natural, healthy glow. In the past, patient had to choose between a procedure with great results but lengthy recovery, or a procedure with fast recovery but marginal results. Now with the HALO, one gets the best of both worlds: great results with minimal downtime.
Please keep in mind that sun damage and cellular aging continue relentlessly. Hence, subsequent maintenance treatments will provide preventative anti-aging measures to keep the skin evenly toned and radiant.
Furthermore, the HALO can be used in combination with BBL HERO, MOXI, ClearSilk and ClearV for synergistic effects. In other words, using two or three light and/or laser techniques together can give faster and better results with less sessions.

What Does HALO Feel Like?
With topical numbing cream and integrated cooling technology, most patients experience very little discomfort. Generally speaking, many patients describe the laser session as a feeling of heat with some prickling sensations. After the treatment, the warm feeling may continue for another 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the intensity level.
What Results Can I Expect?
HALO is a complete skin rejuvenation laser. In summary, benefits of the HALO include significant removal of discoloration, reduction in fine lines, reduced pore size, and increased skin reflectivity and glow. Notably, the laser resurfacing leads to marked improvement in overall tone and texture of the skin.
Post Treatment Expectations
For the first 24 hours the treated skin should be protected according to the doctor’s instructions. Thereafter, the patient can return to normal activities such as daily skincare routine and makeup usage. After two to three days, the treated skin will develop a bronze appearance. Then, by day three or four the skin will peel, showing new pink skin beneath.
Number of Sessions Needed
The HALO offers great flexibility when it comes to treatment options. In fact, depending on the situation, the patient can choose to have one or two more aggressive laser session(s) or go through multiple less aggressive laser sessions. Accordingly, the different treatment courses will achieve the desired results but differ only in length of time.
Treatment Cost
Every HALO treatment is customized for one’s concern and lifestyle. Therefore, based on one’s needs, the doctor may recommend two laser sessions, or a series of laser sessions.
